AVA S.p.A. has been awarded the ENI Congo contract

AVA S.p.A. has been awarded the ENI contract for Drilling Fluid Services (onshore and offshore) in the Republic of Congo (Congo-Brazzaville).
The duration of the contract is 36 months with options to extend for up to an additional 24 months.
This represents a significant milestone in the expansion of EMEA activities and gives AVA/Newpark a strong foothold in the Central/West Africa region.
Activity will be conducted in both a deep offshore area (Pointe‐Noire) and onshore in a center of high activity where AVA successfully bid against it's two main drilling fluidcompetitors.
The Republic of Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) is expected to become sub-Saharan Africa’s third-largest oil producer by 2017 and ENI is one of the oldest and largest foreign oil companies operating in Africa.
