David A. Paterson
President and CEO of Newpark Fluids Systems
David Paterson was appointed as President of the Company and President of Fluids Systems in July 2019. From October 2018 to July 2019, Mr. Paterson served as President – Pressure Pumping of Weir Oil and Gas. From December 1995 to October 2018, he served in varying roles for Schlumberger including President – Artificial Lift, President – Geoservices, and Vice President – Drilling Group Asia. During this time, he spent 17 years working directly in the Drilling Fluids, Completion Fluids, Solids Control and Waste management sector in Dowell Drilling Fluids and the M-I SWACO Joint Venture. He held numerous assignments of progressing responsibility in this space including: Well Site Fluids Engineer working on land, Offshore and Deepwater rigs, Customer In-House Fluids Representative, Field Service Manager, Product Line Manager for Completion Fluids, Country Manager, Asia Pacific Vice President, Eastern Hemisphere Senior Vice President, and Global Product Line Vice President. Mr. Paterson holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Offshore Engineering from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Ramy Danial
Senior Vice President and CFO
Ramy Danial was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Newpark Fluids Systems in December 2025. Prior to this role, he served as Tax and Treasury Advisor to the company beginning in January 2025. Ramy brings more than 25 years of progressive experience across a wide range of finance leadership roles, including multinational treasury, tax, audit, and risk management. Most recently, he has provided management and CFO advisory services to private and private-equity-backed companies, supporting due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and new country market entry initiatives. Previously, Ramy served in multiple Vice President roles at Shelf Drilling from 2012 to 2019, with responsibility for Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, and Risk Management. Throughout his career, he has advanced through positions of increasing responsibility across the oil and gas industry and public accounting firms. He began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with PwC in Cleveland, Ohio.
Gary Cole
Senior Vice President Operations - Eastern Hemisphere
Gary Cole joined Newpark Fluids Systems as Senior Vice President, Eastern Hemisphere in May 2022, following a brief introductory tenure as an international business development advisor to the President. He has previously held executive and joint venture Board positions across the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and the United States, combining a unique and diverse cultural blend of over 4 decades of headquarters and global oilfield experience across 11 dispersed international postings. Gary brings a unique blend of drilling expertise and practical exposure to the multi-faceted world of drilling fluids and equipment services, as well as a proven dedication towards customer focus and individually nuanced client requirements.
Nathan Snoke
Senior Vice President Operations - Western Hemisphere
Nathan Snoke has joined Newpark Fluids Systems as Senior Vice President, Western Hemisphere in June 2025 bringing over two decades of predominantly North American oilfield experience to his role, most recently holding Senior operational and commercial leadership positions with Halliburton and Flotek. He has worked across every major U.S. shale play—from the Rockies and Permian to the Marcellus and Haynesville—developing a deep understanding of basin-specific challenges and customer needs. In addition to his domestic experience, he has spent time living internationally and leading businesses in more than 20 countries.
